Craniosacral therapy can help with physical symptoms of pain and illness as well as emotional issues.

The soul journey into embodiment begins with connection to the egg in our mother’s ovary, while she is still only a two-week-old baby in our grandmother’s body. The father’s one-in-a-billion sperm will determine the soul’s gender, and much more, at the miraculous point of conception.

15 days after conception, a tiny line is formed on the surface of the embryonic disc – as if by the finger-nail of God – and the whole process of development takes place by the movement of fluids around this notochordal line. The imprint of this central organising line remains visible in the spinal vertebrae of the adult bones.

The hands-on work of craniosacral therapy is like that of the hands at the potter’s wheel – gently shaping form around a central organising point. In the human body, the natural tidal movements of the cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal cord help to restore the bones and tissues to their natural central alignment.

Body memory is now well documented and the ability of the body tissues and mind to help heal each other is increasingly understood. Unresolved shocks, emotions, traumatic events and habitual tensions can be softened and integrated safely, in a resourced way. A combination of hands-on craniosacral work and sensitive listening and verbal interaction can relax the whole system and allow energy to flow more freely and vibrantly.

Corrina Kenendy qualified with the Institute of Craniosacral Studies two year Diploma course in 2006. Her further advanced studies with the Institute have included birth trauma resolution and working with stress, shock and trauma. Corrina is currently training with Karlton Terry on the four year Embodied Consciousness course, about the experience of our soul coming into this life.
